While once again I'd very much like to sulk in this journal, I want to try something different. Instead of being edgy, let's try doing something a bit more sentimental and mature.
Let's talk about gratitude.
Yeah. Very cheesy. But seriously. I have a lot to be grateful for. Just this week, our family got yet another kitten. Lol, yeah. She appeared in front of our house at one night, crying so loud I could hear her from the second floor. The next day, my mom brought her home. She always complains about our cats, but I know she cares much about them. We named her Pudding, because reasons. She's a bit aggresive with our cats, but she'll be safe with us now.
Then, also this week. I met my neighbour whom I never met with before. I don't go out much. He lives across our home. He needed a little help for his work. We also talked a little bit. He's slightly younger than me and he's part Vietnamese. It's a short pleasant meeting. Surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
This week also has been a productive reading week. Concurrently, I am reading Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, the book I've been wanting to read for years, and Crazy Little Heaven by Mark Heyward. After a lot of novels, I think I need these books to rewire my mind again with reality. So far I learn a lot, especially from the former. A lot of new perspectives about history. I almost finished both of them and will write about them here in a few weeks.
Lastly. On Sunday I want to post something fresh. Just like a fun short trivia about things I just found out. Like, did you know there's something called level two chaotic system? Or that there's something called Planet Nine? Or, what is .webp format I keep getting when saving images on the browser instead of .jpg or .png? Also maybe tech things I want to try. Maybe you'll find these things interesting too. I don't know.
