Journal #55

A few days ago was my college graduation day. I got lucky. And tons of help. The last two years of my college was disastrous, to say the least. But, it was over, nevertheless. It's finally over.

Moving on.

I started playing Kingdom: New Lands. It was really interesting. It's like playing Age of Empire but you can't control your soldiers directly. You're just running around on your horse telling people what to do. I'm really bad at it though, but it's really fun.

Next.

I accidentally bought 7 books this month. Yeah, "accidentally" is definitely the right word for it. That means I've bought 20 books this year. That means 8 books more than what I planned at the beginning of the year. That means fuck my new year resolution, at this point.

I just can't help buying The Fifth to Die, which is the sequel of The Fourth Monkey, which is an awesome crime novel. I also wanted to start reading Brandon Sanderson's books. And The Final Empire is really intriguing with its metal power system and fun shounen-like story. It's like watching The Last Airbender cartoon.

Next next.

Work started piling up. I'm both excited and scared at the same time, which happens pretty often to me. I can never tell when things will go sideways. Overconfidence runs in my blood. Luckily, so does levelheadedness. But that's not always a good thing either.

Next next next.

I missed last week Blank Note. Well, shit. I also dropped Replicant this month. I feel very unenergetic these days. Aimlessly staring at my computer every day without a single sight of goal in the future. I used to have a dream. Now I have back pain.
