Nick Buckley is a young girl living in her family home, End House. Hercule Poirot, the famous detective, who is staying near the place, meet the girl and realize that she is almost killed three times by accidents for the past three days. Whether they're accidents or someone actually targetting Nick's life, it's up to Poirot's brilliant mind and his loyal friend Arthur Hastings to unveil the truth.
Peril at End House marks the fifth book of the writer that I've read. After reading and watching many detective stories, it's hard to expect something interesting now. But I was wrong. This book got everything you love about the writer's style of storytelling and brilliantly put a twist where you don't expect them. The plot keeps you wondering who the culprit is until the very end and you can easily emphatize with the emotions that the characters have.
Lastly, I think this is not the best Agatha Christie's book, but it's absolutely worth a read.
